OK I got in touch with Nicolas CROSNIER and in fact he was not
reachable because he has changed his email address.

You can send him a message at : nikko909 at hotmail.com
he cannot read his email at home (no ADSL in the remote countryside
where he dwells!) but have access to it at his work.

Basically he needs to know which ROM do you need ? The OS EPROM or
the sound EPROM. He is also experienced in troubleshooting this drum 
machine.

Voila ! I hope you will be able to fix your SD140 problem quickly now !
