you could probably do it, since at some point in the chain it's brought to
cv so it can drive the CEMs... however, the 3394 is based on -/+ 4v, instead
of the usual +10v or -/+5v setups, it has a scale of .75v/oct instead of
1v/oct... so to use it with standard CV gear you would have to stretch out
the scale a bit.
