[sdiy] Noisy Diode Ladder VCF

Hi all,

I finished my Ems like, Diode ladder VCF from ele4music schematics ( 
VCF6c wrong link on E4M website), but results are not so good I 
expected..

It's ouput level is lower and noisiest than other VCF I have (MS20 VCF 
& Synthacon ), and seems to need high level input (probably such as 
VCOs rather than classic audio signal)

Does any builder notice that ?

Could I change some resitors values, to bring Input to a better level 
without adding amp stage ? Does LM13600 needs to process small signal 
as CA3080 to prevent clipping ?

And/or  which resitors values could I change, near of LM13600 for a 
better amplification on the output ?
