This is a project I have been wanting to do for a long time. But, there
never seemed to be enough time to undertake the project. Past attempts
yielded less that desirable results. However, I have a new scanner that
goes up to 9600 dpi. :-)

There were several problems to overcome. About 1/3 of the pages are color.
The only way they came out readable was to indeed stay with color. The
paper was so thin I constantly had trouble with bleed through from the
opposite side. And finally, some of the pages are 11 x 17 while some are 14
x 17. Some of the fonts on these large pages are only about 8 point in the
illustration boxes. I had a lot of cut and pasting as my scanner is not 14 x
17. :-) And, I had to stay with a minimum of 300 dpi to get an image that
is easy to read every detail.

I have been stuck at home for a few days baby-sitting the contractors who
have been fixing my house since the tree fell on it about 3 weeks ago. I
found some time in the last 3 days to complete this project.

So, all 27 pages of the Jupiter 6 service notes are now on line. None of it
is scanned in black and white nor does it display the typical PDF dithering
around the character edges. All the original scanning was color or
grayscale. So, the files lean a little bit large. To make downloading
easier, I kept the pages separate for those like me stuck on a dial up
connection. But after you see how readable (and printable) the files are,
you will know the download time was worthwhile. The pages that could be
were broken into handy 8 x 11 1/2 format for printing. However, some of the
big drawings will need to be printed to 11 x 17 if you expect to read them.

Here they are:

All files are in handy PDF format. I have several days work at the scanner
and editor to make these so nice. Therefore, if someone elects to re-post
these elsewhere, please do not remove the credit for the scanning and
editing. That's little to ask in return. :-)
