[sdiy] Slew limiter circuit for compressor variable attack/release times

Hi,

I'm working on a compressor at the moment, but I'm struggling a bit to 
get the variable attack/release part of it working.  I have a control 
voltage from the RMS level detector stage and this needs to be 
slew-limited on its way to the VCA to allow slower attack and release 
times to be set.

Can anyone point me in the direction of such a circuit?  The VCA is 
exponential response (dB/V) so I need the slew curve to be a straight 
line (e.g. like from a constant current source charging a cap), and 
independent for attack and release.  A normal RC slew curve really isn't 
what I want.
