Totally agreed...
...since the student projects will probably be one-shots, I was looking
for solutions that didn't involve actually sending out to a pcb outfit.
I hadn't noticed this before, but flipping through the MOTM catalog, I
noticed Paul makes a veroboard sort of prototyping board, in the MOTM
size, with special places to put the pots. Maybe I should get a bunch of
those, with the basic instructions of "here, make this do something cool
and interesting."
