[sdiy] Questions about diode usage in an AR/ASR/ADSR generator

Here's one of mine:

It uses several 1N4148 diodes.  I had never considered using 1N400X
diodes.  The top circuit has been tested and works (for a FatMan), the
second one has a modification to include a "punch" switch and has not yet
been tested.
