Is there any reason *not* to use the NTE996 instead, which is intended as a
pin-compatible replacement (Mouser, at least, show stock). It seems to only
have a few mentions in amongst all the wailing in the many 'death of the
CA3080' threads, and I'm wondering if there is a reason for this? (Not much
comes up in the archives...)
