When I saw the numbers in the original post I picked up that copy of "Motorola
Master Selection Guide" that's sitting here handy, and sure enough, written
inside the front cover, are a couple of very similar numbers, and
somebody's name and extension number at the distributors. The date on the
front of that particular book (I have several of them) is also 1971. :-)
