[sdiy] Questions about diode usage in an AR/ASR/ADSR generator

Well...the diodes were designed to different jobs. The 4000 series are
rectifiers...designed to pass larger currents in one direction. The
914/4148 and are designed for speed and low leakage (well, relatively
low)...for an AR/ASR/ADSR, I am pretty sure you want to stick with the
switching diodes. The 4000 series will work, but you will get slightly
"inferior" performance, depending on where and how they are used.
