[sdiy] Reproducing plastic fader shafts / knobs at home? ~``~

This might be a good idea.  Do you think the Shapelock, Polymorph or similar 
would come right out once it hardened or might there need to be something 
(what?) between the mold and the plastic for it to come out easily?
