[sdiy] who is right ?

Hello,

My name is Philippe aka Dubphil ( http://dubphil.free.fr ), I'm new in the
world of DIY and try to build the sync24 to midi converter from Colin
Fraser http://www.colinfraser.com/m2d/m2d.htm . I succeed in most tasks
but at the din sync wiring step, I get annoyed. The schematics of Colin (
http://www.colinfraser.com/m2d/m2d2m.pdf ) shows the 1 2 3 and 4 pins to
be connected for the din sync althought the Pheel Rees homepage (
http://www.philrees.co.uk/products/sync-if.htm ) shows the 1 2 3 and 5 to
be connected. Who is right ?
