[sdiy] Are all 2222's created equal?

While sorting through my pile of transistors inhereted from my grandpa, I
came across some that say "GET2222", some that say "TI 51 2222", and some
that say "AT2222" - they're all small black transistors with one flat face
and the rest curvy.

If I see a schematic calls for a 2n2222, can I drop any of these in and be
a happy camper?
