 Hi to All
Wow, this has been a bad year for sdiy, another supplier gone.
Really I must say I think EFM went down about six months ago.
I only received one(1) module out of all that I ordered, I had to
modify it heavily to get it working.
If any are interested here is a link to a yahoo group that
maybe can take the place of the EFM forum. The EFM forum
due to the nice members was EFM's only saving grace.

I bought a bunch of EFM boards when I was just starting out. Half of them worked right away, the other half didn't. Caused me a fair amount of frustration. That was back when my SDIY skills amounted to the ability to "paint by numbers" ( i.e.: no experimenting, no bread board, just stuff the pcb, wire it up, and power it up). Ocaisionally I revisit these non-working boards and I get one working. Why? Because my skills have improved. My ability to troubleshoot has improved. In fact, EFM pcbs were the first that I ever traced out to make sure the connections were correct (helped my understanding quite a bit). First breadboard circuits were EFM filters. Some of the first "happy" mistakes I made were realised while building EFM modules and I continue to incorporate these "mistakes" in my own designs.

Tom, if your out there somewhere reading these posts... Thanks. You contributed a lot to the SDIY community and I'm really sorry to see EFM go away. Good luck on your new path.
