There is a film called map/ carteographic plastic film
they are sold as regular transparensis but they are semi
milky wite, toner stick to it more evenly then on regular 
paper i have using it for the last 20 years, also the best 
lasers to print on these (or transparensis for that matter)
is older "laser based" print heads not led, the laser
ionises the toner partickles whit a higher energy then
led, so go to the scrap yard and fetch your self  
an old HP laserjet 4,5 or 6 model, or a nec660plus.
