I'm pretty sure there is some weird stuff going on in the CS01. Its not 
based around the usual Yamaha VCO chip, but a high frequency VCO that is 
then divided down by a digitally controlled matrix.

I did some mods on a CS01 to make the bender work the other way, it only 
bends upwards I think. To do this I had to increase this master VCO by 
an octave and reverse the bender pot. From what I remember the 
oscillator doesn't work in the usual analogue synth manner.
