I'd check the archives. Someone wrote about using some
clear spray that made to toner 'run' and appear darker.
A lot of folk use several films, stacked. That would suck imho !
There was some company that used to make photo material
that you could do positives and negatives. It was part of the
"Scotchcal" line (now defunct) which became "Dynamark"
(also defunct) and i don't know who makes it now... Mebbe I can
find it (if it still exists).
It would expose using a bright light source... we used a scanner
made for the purpose, but perhaps another source would work as well.
Maybe you should see if some photography lab could make contact prints
and darken it for you... ?
(why don't you BUY PBCs made up... they are cheap these days. Make
five pieces and trade with your friends...)

prints back on transparancies for etching a few boards and, despite
having them done at high quality, I can see right through the ground
plane when I hold it up to any light. The traces themselves look alot
better, but I'm still a bit un-nerved about this. I called the
printers and they've assured me this is normal for anything that uses
toner and the only real option for better quality is to use a press
(big money). I'd rather not try to stack multiple copies on top of
one another (even with 3 I can still see through them a bit) as
aligning them will be a pain. Comments?
