Hello all,
My latest project is a clone of the Morley Saphhire Flanger, using this
schematic:
http://www.morleypedals.com/sfbes.pdf This is the most complex stomp box
circuit I've built, and I've got some problems with it. I have it on my
breadboard right now. I would like to modify it and make it a module
eventually
The LED is showing a sweep which corresponds to the speed and travel pots,
so I think atleast part of the circuit is working well. I just don't get a
flanger sound. When the switch is set to flange, the output sounds filtered,
but not in motion.
I've got a couple questions that someone with more experience may be able to
answer.
Firstly... Could R45 actually be 47ohm, it seems very small. (This is the
resistor between + supply and several pins of U4 and U5) I was thinking
maybe it should be more like 47k.
Also... I am using banana jacks to connect signal and ground for input and
output, because my sound source is my modular synth. I know that there is
some sort of switching going on in the jacks of the original circuit. Is
there something I need to change when using a jack without switches? (Other
than having to remove the battery when finished :b )
Thank you to anyone who can help me!
