No idea about the Windows world, but with Linux holding n versions of
Eagle in parallel wouldn't be a problem as the installation is
directory-based.
You should, however, care that all installed versions are of the same
release versions as Klaus Schmiedinger likes to change for file formats
from time to time.
This can be sometimes cumbersome when sharing libraries with others.
