[sdiy] Buying the full version of Eagle

I don't think this is ever a problem. I have not yet found a PCB
manufacturer that can't handle gerber files, nor have I found a PCB
program that can't generate gerber files.

I have tried eagle, orcad, protel dxp, and kicad. From those, I liked
protel the best, followed by eagle. I think one could become very
efficient with eagle with some practice, but I only did one PCB with it.
If I were to buy one, I'd go with eagle. Since I'm poor, I use Kicad
which is open source, but currently has no where near the capabilities
of eagle.

that 4pcb.com deal is good. The PCBs look very nice. I just had a school
project built on one of them. There are cheaper options though.
