It's been a long time in coming -- a lot longer than I thought it would
be --
but the updated, first full release of M1000X is nearly ready! M1000X
is a patch editor for the Oberheim Matrix-6, 6R, and 1000 synths. It
runs
on Macs under OS X. I released what was supposed to be a pre-release
early this year, with the intent of getting the first full version out
sometime
during the summer.
Well, it's a little later than I thought. My lame excuse: we're
building a house,
and lately nearly every spare hour has gone into painting. Also, I
really
struggled for a while with some of the concepts for how things should
work.
But it's right around the corner now. I'm hoping to get the release out
around the first of February. In the meantime, if you go to my M1000X
page at:

There are previews for what the new graphical matrix control window,
and the new library browser, are going to look like.
