[sdiy] Dead CA3084

HI List

I have a dead CA3084 in an exponentiator of an Formant Dual VCA. I know I can 
replace it wirth a matched pair of BC 560 or an 2SA1394. Both have a much 
higher hFE. When i remenber correctly the 3084 has an hFE of only 30-50. I 
have no datassheet to look it up. So what type of BC 560 should i use A, B, 
C? Must i change some resistors? Specialy in the emitter line from the OpAmp. 
Decrease it? What amount?
