Thanks for the replies. At least I know I'm getting through. Here's the
message about the diodes again. I'm mostly interested to see if anyone has
any info on the Unitrode UZ 2328 matched diode pair (see below) Thanks
again!

Hey All,
I've recently come across a couple of deals on the following surplus
parts, and I was wondering how much interest there might be for them:
Unmarked Germanium Diodes - these are kind of neat, actually. You can
see the wire bond to the junction through the glass body. Just a teeny
bit larger than the average 1N914. Good for experiements? Fuzz boxes?
Also might be good for general small signal diode use where the lower
voltage drop is an advantage. Might be light sensitive due to the
clear glass case. I can get a bunch at 14 cents each.
Unitrode Matched Pair Diodes - Unitrode part number UZ 2328. Another
small signal diode, these come as a pair in a little paper envelope. I
can't find ANYthing about these. Maybe good for a diode VCF like the
Steiner? A diode-based expo converter? These are 50 cents for the
pair. If anybody can shed some light on these, I'd be interested. They
just seem like they should be very useful...
Thanks everyone. As you were.
