They are more or less still there except that Sam Ash has taken over the
whole block (48th Street) on both sides and is squeezing the others out.
As I told Daniel there is "Two Lines Music" a great synth store.

Speaking of which, I know where there used to be (years ago!) a whole
bunch
of music stores in the midtown area, are any of those still around? Or
are
they all gone, like so much else that used to be there?
