four outputs together. Mike Irwin (who may be likely to chime in here)
designed a clone adaptation that used the parallel mux configuration without
mixing all four outputs together (IE, he more closely followed the data
sheet example - makes more sense to me, too).
Ah, I see. Found Mike's version in my archive. When I read "modified for
SAD1024" I thought the original
had used a different chip. So, apparently not. Would be interesting to see
the original ADA circuit, too.
Mike's version is indeed the parallel/multiplex method from the data sheet,
except for the passive
summing.
