I've played with handheld plasma cutters and they dont quite have the
precision required to make the smaller holes for panels ( like LEDs ).

If anyone runs across the guy who made a Flowjet using hypodermic needles
however...  He was cutting 1/8" 6061 aluminum with better then .1mm
accuracy.
