Personally ..
I find some are stiffer/rougher to turn than others.
Have to take great care not to overtighten plastic thread, especially if 
panel is quite thick so nut is not completely on.
Washers+Nuts are quite large, so they show unless a large knob is used.

But having said all this, they are a good pot .. they seem reliable, 
have relatively low temp co, are cheap & (in UK at least) are available 
in many values/tapers/configurations.
