[sdiy] AvrSynth update: Patchable?

Yo,

Well, the thing makes noise...just not very well. The
hardware, including my mods, seems to work. But the
thing sounds pretty incoherent. I'm not sure if I
broke the code or what. And on top of that I
discovered that I no longer like to work in assembly
code. I guess I got spoiled by the avrgcc compiler.

Then it hit me: How about a patchable Avr Synth? I
think it can be done. Swap in a mega644 for the
mega16, buying a 20MHz clock. Not sure how much one
can get done between samples, but it might be enough.
The hardware I have now should be enough to get
started.
