Aha, so I am not the only one using the 31VJ's. And
here I thought I'd be the leper of the group for using
clearly inferior pots. I had nightnmares about being
tsk-tsk'd by the Martha Stewart of sdiy, looking
distainfully at my crappy pots. No doilies under my
keyboard, either. 

Wow, I feel better. I will continue with the wal-mart
pots. Thanks people! 

Now about those Radio Shack transistors...  ;-)
