I wonder if the trimpots in those VCR channel preset modules would really be 
up to the task of being operated as much as they would in a sequencer or synth 
control module?  They're not really designed for frequent use -- they're 
designed to be set once or twice and left alone.  Also, if one of your pots ever 
went bad, you'd have to replace the entire module!

They are rather cute, though.  I have a few of them that I have rescued from 
dumpsters.
