[sdiy] Building a modular

As a long time 'home brewer' (more computer then synths, going all the way
back to S-100 days), I finally bought a Synth.com unit to get started.
Worked out GREAT! I had kits, PCB's, and parts coming out the b... and just
never could get started. Then I bought a base Synth.com unit (the QSR24,
http://www.synthesizers.com/qsr24.html) and now I enjoying playing with it
and adding the modules I never bothered with before. I've built several
MOTM and Blacet modules and added them to the base system, and now I'm
starting on the EFM kits I bought. A number of people don't like the lack
of schematics for the Synth.com systems, but with all that is available from
other sources, it has never been any kind of issue. Plus, I know that I'll
always have some kind of working system no matter how many mods I make to
other modules that I add.

just my $.02!
