They are standard 4 U rack panels. jacks, pots etc on a 1" horizontal
spacing 16 pots/jacks across, and 1" or 3/4" vertical spacing.

Simply put, whatever format you go with, it is best if it is rack compliant.
At least that way you can mix and match.

I started with Moog/Dotcom format, but found them too tall and skinny. I now
do modules in 4U height, with 1" spacing, kind of like Serge, but in
individual modules.
