yeah, it seems like it.  What kills me is that this conversation could 
easily be taken off list where it can get as nasty as it wants to..

well, initially it was restoring my Korg Mono/Poly which seems to have 
for the most part worked itself out - ive been happily playing it the 
last two days without any problems (in fact, the more I play it, the 
more 'alive' it seems to be - like it was just stiff from neglect or 
something).

My next project is going to be (Possibly) to MIDI it.   After that, Ive 
been on the edge of building a modular system for some time and think Im 
going to get started.   I havnt decided on a system or what yet, but Ill 
probably go for Kits that I assemble.   I took a couple years of 
electronic circuit design in colege, but since I switched to programming 
its mostly been forgotten.  still got good soldering skills though..
