Ok, last night I was the recipient of a minor miracle: the Korg
Mono/Poly I mentioned yesterday, that I hadnt turned on in ages because
it was broken, seems to have been raised from the dead. *most* of the
keys work now and work reliably. The only area that is still having
issues is the lowest octave and a few black keys. Im going to take the
time this weekend to clean the contacts using instructions ive found
online. I played it for hours last night, and am just inlove with its
very peculiar sound.

Anyway, I did some googling and found that there is more than one way to
Add MIDI to the mono/poly, and was wondering if anyone had any good
suggestions on this? I dont need more than note on/off (though clock
for the arpeggiator would be nice :-D). I am looking for something I
could install myself that will be reliable.

Thanks for all the good suggestions yesterday. My next project is going
to be my assembling an analog modular (slow and over time) so youll be
hearing more from me.

Tony
