[sdiy] Why are MAT02 and MAT03 so expensive?

I go by what they send me, and on each lot they take a sample and send
printed test results and I've not seen anything in those worse that .03. But
honestly, I always thought the MAT beta matching spec was written in
percentage as opposed to a fixed delta - am I incorrect on that?
