[sdiy] Why are MAT02 and MAT03 so expensive?

Those transistors are very tightly matched...very low in noise...and also 
have very low emitter bulk resistance...something that you have to pay 
for...if you really need it.

They are both very good for making Log/Expo converters as they will be very 
accurate.  Personally...I prefer the MAT04....Four transistors in a 
package...and 1/4 the price per transistor.
