I'm assuming that Paul used the GPL because there is
a least one circuit in the Monowave that I reconized
right away : )

At the time of it's release it was a GPL sort of thing 
even though it wasn't presented that way at all.

Be aware that any modification to the existing platform
will also have to be avalible to all under this agreement.
