Although this can be interpreted as someone dissing synths (if you're
ready for misconception, what isn't uncommon these days... ;-) playing
bass or guitar is remarkably different. Creating each note immediately
with your hands touching the oscillator cores, er, strings *is*
something else, even compared to an acoustic piano. Not necessarily
better, but definitely more immediate.
