Actually, the lower case would not *necessarily* be required for a 'Moog'.

An example  -  a dB of course is a decibel.  Ever wonder why the B is
capitalized in the abbreviation?  The term was introduced by Bell Labs and
named after Alexander Graham Bell, hence it is always capitalized in use.
