  Not to 'rain on anyone's parade', but as a former ANSI member, be aware that something like this COULD take...errr....5-8 years or so. It has to go through about 4 levels of peer review/rebuttal (in case someone else wants to call it a 'Wendy'). and then it has to be published/updated in the official guidelines, which is no mean feat.

    This, quite seriously, is a fantastic idea.  I really think someone (perhaps with law or govt. ties) should help the sdiy and AH lists get this moving in the right directions.  Kudos to whomever had the original idea of the naming and then the guy with the correction to 1.0...Now let's "get 'er done" as they say (I don't know who)!
