I was thinking of something like this:
******************
On behalf of The SDIY Mailing List, a world-wide community of
electronic music inventors, tinkerers, and crack-pots, we would like
to express our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Dr.
Robert Moog.
Dr. Moog touched many of our lives. His instruments inspired many of
us not only in our hobbies, but in our professional lives as well. He
showed us that art and technology are not mutually exclusive, and that
mixing the best of each field can yield extraordinary results. He
changed the face of modern music, and was a positive influence for all
of us. His spirit, and his dedication to innovation and craftsmanship
will be sorely missed.
We will miss you, Dr. Moog, and we thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
Sincerely,
The SDIY (Synthesizer DIY) Mailing List
