[sdiy] Definition of Modular (regarding FatMan)

 Well, I support Paul S.

Maybe I want to take an oscillator or filter or whatever out and use it for
something else - or put something else in there - without lugging the whole
cabinet around.

Modular is complete interchangability in my view.

(I make modular process plants for a living, and when a module weighs 200
tons I can guarantee you that you want to be able to take it out separately
from the rest of the plant - especially if it is 200m below sea level).
