In a lot of applications it is no problem.
If there is a design weakness, the switcher may
cause trouble.
ex. Some designers use the power supply rails to set
critical voltages like the reset level on a VCO
(they SHOULD use voltage references, na ?)
In this case... the HF 'fuzz' riding the supply can
cause erratic (jittery) reset, bizarre soft sync
problems etc.
Try it and find out !!!
