[sdiy] wall warts--wishful thinking

Oh goody, I can't wait.

I remember my tech days at the L.A. Daily News where I got Dranetz training.
One thing they told us is that switching supplies plugged into the same
power circuit can have a tendancy to become synchronized and because of that,
they all demand power at nearly the same times. Sure enough, this effect was
bad enough to see on an oscope, I think it was 9x line frequency. This
effect caused some of the computers to crash until they were moved to cleaner
lines.
