[sdiy] dial-a-shake

Exact Electronics, Hillsboro, Oregon died a long time ago. I used to have a couple of racks of their modular test equipment with VCOs, filters, etc. Repair should be easy as the design is probably transistor. The 202 could be used as a sequencer or even a low frequency oscillator. How many steps? What is the minimum and maximum step rate?

Take care,
John

  Subject: [sdiy] dial-a-shake

  Hi Everyone
I'm trying to find out something about a piece of test equipment I have. Its an "EXACT model 202 Complex waveform synthesizer".
I think it was used to vibrate a test bed to see how long something lasts, it has "dial-a-shake" dymo label on it
It doesn't work and I would like to know if it would be worth fixing, could it make a sound? or do I turn it into a sequencer, etc.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have a picture if anyone would like to see it.
  Thanks
  Greg
