Hi,

I've acquired a Linn 9000 in slightly poor shape - it doesn't really work!  It has some Forat mods like the bigger screen (which is broken anyway!) and looks like thre's more sequencer memory, it may even sample.  The Forat mods are very untidy and the soldering is amateurish - quite disappointing really.  It is a US unit (owned previously by an 80's producer) even though I'm in the UK.  I am using it will a well uprated 240 to 110V transformer (200W).

However, it has powered on and worked bar the bass drum, but this is like once in every 20 power ups.  So there may be a CPU reset issue here or otherwise.  The PSU seems OK and the volts OK if a little high (5.2V).  I might need to scope them to see if ripple is excessive but it looks like a switcher unit anyway.

So, does any one have schematics for some or all of this Linn.
