[sdiy] Doepfer jacks?

For the record, too:
The problems associated with Doepfer were not JUST isolated to Doepfer -
both Analogue Systems and Analogue Solutions modules suffered from this.
Note past tense, ergo: 'were not just' (above). The problem was from a
crappy spring retention design which as of about 2 1/2 years ago has been
corrected by Cliff. These jacks are good now as are any modules form the
manufacturers listed about which used jacks made after that. In my
estimation these Cliff's are attractive, they have a nice little 'snap' to
them when engaged, they're affordable and have a relatively small footprint
under the faceplate. A win win.
