For the record: Cliff's 1/4" jack sockets are IME excellent
products. I know reliability issues have been reported with
Döpfer's 3.5mm jacks sockets, but I have used two patch bays
equipped with Cliff 1/4" sockets for more than ten years and
have had no problems. Their S2 model is ugly but otherwise good
and cheap.
