Reminds me of the first lighter I ever bought where there was no adjustment for flame height.  I looked all over the thing for the control, then noticed on the front of the package it said "Never needs adjusting!".  The exclamation point must have been there to make the concept seem even that much more revolutionary.....

Yes it is... when the battery is dead, the lifetime
is over !!
