Are you 'not getting' the new Paradigm (wash my mouth out with soap :^)

Last years parts, do not translate into this years bonus for mr. mba

Be a good consumer. Throw out those stale parts like you would milk
or bread, and buy nice fresh parts.

in other news I just saw a bathroom scale with a "lifetime lithium battery"
(non-replacable)

Now whose lifetime is that. Did some cluster-fvck of MBAs decide what that
lifetime will be. Is it five years, twenty years ? Is it the same in Alaska AND
the Mojave desert ?? Do they send someone around to kill ME when the battery
reaches 'end of life' ???

Throw away society. Junk that Strad, its an old piece of sh!t anyway :^P

Last night I used some old ceramic caps... had to scrape the corrosion off the
leads... they are probably 1980 vintage. BUT THEY STILL WORK GREAT !!!

<rant mode just beginning>

And btw... I started doing business with DigiKey in 1974 because THEY would sell
me some CA3080s (if I made a $20 order) and RS told me to 'go pound sand...'

I am thinking I will STOP doing business with them if they keep introducing
products
and then obsoleting those parts in six months. I need to be able to trust
distribution
channels. Used to be you could trust the DigiKey catalog ???

Am I just getting old and crabby ?... As crabby as Ian ??? :^P

H^) harry (who, come the revolution... will still have leaded, leaded parts :^)
